I have spent a lot of time around whales and have had some close encounter moments. This is the first time one has made contact! It obviously could have been a lot worse. Ultimately risk is a part of boats upon the sea. I can't speak for everyone but for me the risk is worth the experience of seeing whalers upon the sea.
