It's hard to believe. He was on Facebook just a few days ago. I'm very sad to hear about his passing. I handed him my wing paddle at the Port Townsend seminar several years ago so he could demonstrate several different styles of paddling. Back then wing paddles were new and unfamiliar to most paddlers. Somehow I thought he'd just go on forever. RIP.
