Not great weather, but better than the rest of the countrybs deep freeze! As always, Winniebs pictures are spectacular and capture every event of the paddle. Five hard core kayakers from Colorado Rocky Mountain Sea Kayak group drove to Corpus Christi TX for 4 days to see what we had to offer. Not great weather but great kayaking. Winniebs pictures are of Saturdaybs trip to North Dunes on Padre Island in the morning and Port Aransas and San Jose Island in the afternoon. Pictures of their Friday paddle to Shamrock Island in the morning (cut short because of windes 24-28mph gusting to 30mph) and then afternoon paddle to Aransas River are shown on my website at https://picasaweb.google.com/104857685363900679676/20130222# along with pictures of their Sunday paddle to St. Charles bay by Goose Island to see the Whooping Cranes (saw them but didnbt have Winnie along as our photographer). Mondaybs paddle still to be determined....weather man predicts winds 25-35mph with gusts to 50mph (gale warnings issued).
