Yes - very sad to see it slide away. 

I'd kept up my SK paper subscription - my last hard-copy sub - in spite of living on the other side of the world - and in spite of being an electronic sort of guy. The paper mag was often excellent - from the early days when many on this list wrote seminal articles defining and refining 'best practice' through later issues which covered personalities, skills, opportunities and tragedies . I thought Chris was doing a great job as editor.

Another publication that can't survive in this advertizer's world b where the ads go, there's the money!

The best model soaring magazine (RC Soaring Digest) moved to the net a long time ago, to cut down costs and improve distribution! And occasionally, they even have ads!
