One of the nice things about Paddlewise is the lack of "noise" surrounding the communications. True, photos take an extra step of posting to an on-line host and including a link, but that's not so hard. There are modern forum possibilities that do include photos, that don't require members to join anything but that forum. I know a number of people who refuse to acquire a FaceBook or Google+ id just because they don't want the exposure -real or imagined - that comes with it. I hope an alternative is found that meets the needs of Paddlewise but does not require signing up for anything other than Paddlewise.
