It is always best to contact the individuals.

It should be apparent that some contributors write in a drug induced haze
and they might not want everything they say distributed to the wider
population. Those who subscribe to Paddlewise are much more intelligent
than your average paddler, tolerant to a fault and have beautiful children.
They can be trusted with controversial content that would lead less
perceptive paddlers to frothing at the mouth and raging against the gods.

Indeed, Paddlewise was founded by the artistic and charming Jackie Fenton
as a refuge for paddling's elite from less tolerant who still practice
bizarre rituals while draped in balloons. Yes, I know it sounds disgusting
but we must learn to be open minded about such things.

Not everything we say here "will play in Peoria" although I have it on
reliable authority that some do play in Peoria and some even do it in
kayaks.

In any case, spell my name right.

This is why John was recently seen paddling a snowboard through some
gnarly looking surf
in search of the "rouge" waves another poster was interested in. It is
rumored
that these "rouge" waves are only seen during red tide, and are
sometimes also
wearing blue lipstick and white eye shadow. They are to be avoided.
