I tried something like this a while back with my Perception Sabre and ended up
melting a hole in it :-( I tried several other "gentler" methods first only
to find that the darn plastic has a memory and would keep returning to it's
original shape. I've since bought a tape on "How to Modify a Sabre" where the
fellow compreses the boat with forms and webbing clamps, then carefully heats
it with a heat gun. I plan to attempt this something in the near future. I'll
let you know how it goes.
