[Paddlewise] Climbing on back deck

	What kind of rod?  It would have to be extendable so it could be
stored and pretty strong to withstand leaning and such.  Maybe the spare
paddle?

	I think I see.  The wide end would be attached to the rope/rod.
When I lean on it the wide end will go into the water and the water
weight will resist that pressure and act as floation.  The small end
would have to be pretty small or closed altogether to prevent the water
from escaping as I'm pressing.

	I don't understand this.  The small end would be hanging down so
when I leaned on it, the drouge would be pushed down small end first.  I
would have to somehow get the large end facing down and by that time I'd
be swimming again.
