Rick:

I know you can cross down near Lake Okechobee and I think there might be a
route through the Cedar Key / Ocala area using the old abandoned
Cross-Florida Barge Canal. but I won't swear to it.  The most scenic route
would be to put in on the Atlantic side, paddle up the St. Mary's River
along the border of GA, then arrange a short shuttle from the St. Mary's to
the Suwanee River where it will be downhill all the way.  If I remember
correctly that is a 225 mile route +/- and the scenery would be unequalled.
Any other route would involve man-made waterways along a major portion.
