[Paddlewise] Maine Camping

I am beginning to plan a week long kayak-camping trip somewhere along the
Maine coast in early August. Three kayakers, all experienced, year round
kayakers. Each can regularly do 12 - 20 mi in a day in light to moderate
conditions, familiar with tides, currents, fog etc. I have joined MITA and
bought a book on commercial campsites and B&Bs along the Maine coast.

I would appreciate any specific recommendations for this trip as to
location, particular camp grounds, islands etc.

Probably better off line than to the whole group.

Gear on the other hand might be a good group discussion. From earlier posts
I have identified myself as a physician. First aid is on me. Tent, sleeping
bag food obvious but any suggestions appreciated.
