I have heard it said that you can't build a mold for HDPE that creates
as sharp an edge as you can with FRP. No personal experience, though.

Speaking of edges, I just got my foam-core Kevlar Edge slalom OC-1 back
in the water after some glass work. Lively? You bet. The thing fairly
dances around on the water. The weight surely has a lot to do with that.
That, and about 6" of rocker. I'm looking forward to playing with it on
the river this weekend if I get the flotation installed.
