I have a "Rail-N-Rack." on my pickup. The installation looks good.
However, you have to use the saddles provided by Rail-N-Rack which mount on
a square bar. I understand that the saddles are not the greatest. I had
intended to put Hully Rollers on my rack. Hully's, (by Yakima) fit onto a
variety of racks, but not onto square bars. Niether Yakima, nor
Rail-N-Rack provided any further assistance as to brackets that would mount
the Hully Rollers.

I drilled holes in the bar and mounted the hully rollers to the rack. The
metal on the Rail N Rack was not too substantial.... after drilling through
it, the metal looked as though it had been made first from iron beads which
were press rolled into an iron sheet, and then formed to make the square
bar. This would be very vulnerable to rust.

Secondly, now that the hully rollers are bolted down... they can't be
adjusted if I wanted to carry other than the kayak it was measured for...
or one similar in size.

Third, since you would have to do the same thing to other saddles, this
limits your access primarily to Rail-N-Rack saddles. Yakima will probably
be in business long after Rail-N-Rack is no longer in business.
