Those US citizens who have not travelled outside of their country would be wise to look up the structure of parks in Europe and Africa. They might then be thankful for the government intervention and protection they are afforded, and the freedoms that they have. It is regulation that is required, and if Government needs to ban all motorized watercraft in those parks (and they are some of the most beautiful and fantastic in the world) then so be it. Sorry to sound so corny, but your grandchildren will thank you for it, today we are certainly not thankful for the jeep tracks that scour Canyonlands from Dead Horse Point.
