The only "Greenland Paddles" I've seen were in a shop. The looked like moderately flattened clubs. I have a hard time believing that I could actually propel a boat with one, much less brace or roll. Oh yeah, there's a car commercial where some guy is in a wood yak and has a Greenland paddle. . . it looks like a club too. Am I missing something here? What's the source of design for these paddles? Anybody want to list a publication? Thanks.
