I've got a couple of 4 day weekends coming up in early October. I was going to go hiking up into the NH White Mountains for the fall foliage. Haven't gotten the (real) old legs in good enough shape to tackle any mountains so will probably take the little 11 canoe north to some of the lakes in eastern NH / western ME and camp on shore. Yeah, I have as many mis-adventures in the canoes as I do in the sea kayak. >From dead moose to 6 hour paddles against 20 knot winds to some really wonderful times. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.gasp-seakayak.net/paddlewise/ ***************************************************************************Received on Tue Sep 29 1998 - 11:15:12 PDT
