Sarah,

There have been two articles in recent editions of sea kayaker. One was a
group of four new zealnders who visited recently, and the other was a solo
paddler who went about 15 years ago and was lucky to escape with his life
-- he was badly inexperienced. I suggest you check www.seakayakermag.com
for the articles or at least the archives. 
Let me know what you find out. :)
