OK, so let me see if I have this straight. I need a seperate strap over each of the rack supports, buckled and then tied in knots. Then I add a bow and a stern line, likewise buckled and tied in knots. Then I want to wrap an additional strap in a figure eight around the cockpit and tied to each of the rack supports. Then just to be safe I should throw one more pair of straps accross everything. Is that all? Are you sure? I mean I don't want to unsafe or anything. A quick calculation; if I add all of these lines, get to the beach and then remove all of these lines, go paddling, then add all of the lines again, drive home and remove all of the lines again, I think that leaves me about ten minutes on the water before it gets dark!!!!
