Excuse me if I missed this from previous posts... Do you know how the
capacity of the NiMH batteries compares to Alkaline and Alkaline
rechargables?

p.s. I just got a Pelican Mighty Light w/ 2 AAs. Very bright and good
for dental grippage, specially with electrical tape wrapped around the
butt (which can come in handy for jerryrigging). Comes in 'safety
yellow'. Not sure why anybody would want a camo flashlight. For sneaking
up on deer I guess.

The AA NiMH cells are 1300 maH capacity. Check out Thomas Distributing:
http://www.nimhbattery.com/ for good data, prices, and the MAHA charger
which will charge 1-10 cells using wall power, cigar lighter power,
12-18v photovoltaic power. It senses
cell temp in rapid charge mode and keeps you from frying batteries.

Roger,

Thanks for the web reference. I'm interested in getting the NiMH batteries
and charger. I don't see any C or D batteries offered. Does anyone know
if these are available in NiMH and who might sell the batteries and charger?
