Here is a fairly complete sounding report on that whitewater fatality on the Moose River in NY. It comes from rec.boat.paddle newsgroup. To date, the body of the fellow who died on the Potomac at Great Falls has not been found. It was in Charlie's Hole for those who know that stretch of the river.
