Is there any way to avoid the $50 excess baggage charge for the longeron & oar bag? For a Folboat Kodiak or GII, that bag is 58x10x10, summing to 78. The int'l limit for this sum is 65, domestic is 62. Are there any exceptions thst someone has discovered? Subterfuge? Big tip to the baggage man?
