HI all I've got a boat with valley canoe products hatches on a skerray. Generally these seal very well. However i get leaks to varying degrees at various times, and more so than other skerray owners I have encountered. My bulheads seal, and I don't think I'm getting leaks from the hatch coamings. When left in the sun the hatches bulge, indicating that they are sealing (although the air flow could be very slow). Yet I often get water, although sometimes my boat stays dry. I'm not too worried by this - i'm in no danger of filling my boat, but I'm wondering if when the boat cools, once it hits the water, water is drawn in through the hatches. It has occurred to me too that an application of some sort of grease, perhaps akin to the silicon product used to seal o-rings might help if applied to the coamings. Any ideas? Does anyone know if VCP is on the web?
