All these under deck tie down ideas sound great, but I'm concerned about the possibility of foot entrapment. Also, ease of re-entry at sea. Some folks around here use deck bags that go on top of the deck, not below. I keep necessities behind my seat in a small dry bag tethered on a short cord with a brass release.
