[Paddlewise] SLR vs. Waterproof camera

You might consider a used Nikonos.  I've used several over the years for
Underwater photography.  They are WATERPROOF!  They can take a beating.
Nikon lenses are superb.

I would recommend the 28mm lens for landscape pictures.  Gives good depth
of field too.  I am now using a Nikonos III.  And a WATERPROOF exposure
meter.

But, it is not SLR. However, I believe Nikonos now makes a SLR camera.  If
interested, I've got the listing for a local shop that might handle the
used cameras... they are exclusively Nikonos repair shop.
