I have also suffered from rotator cuff injuries. This has taken some time to get over. Just because you are in shape for one sport, doesn't mean you are in shape for another. You can even have a spur or growth in the ball-socket joint that can get irritated...even if your shoulder muscles are well toned. It would be of great help to find some authority to refer to for shoulder strengthing exercises applicaple to our sport. John Sommers recommended one such book. At the time, I orded it from Amazon.com, but they later informed me that the book was no longer available. Can someone offer some recommendations and available references? Anything on the web?
