There are about 100 places down there. Let's see...

Paddle from Remle Point down the Cooper past the USS Yorktown, visit the
bird rookery at Crab Bank, come in at Shem Creek in time for lunch or
dinner at the Wreck restaurant.

Paddle from Pinckneyville Landing to Capers Island State Wildlife
Sanctuary. Mostly salt marsh with an optional mild surf landing on the
island. Hike into the center of the island and visit the alligators.

Put on the upper Cooper at Huger and follow the tide out through the
blackwater creek past the cypress, Spanish moss, gators, and 200 y.o.
water gates and dikes. Stop at the 1763 chapel, then ride the tide back
in.

Go play in the surf at Folly Beach.
