He may be selling the Romany because he has em! The Nordkapp may have to be
ordered in from England and no commission this month!

I bought mine from Waterways Kayaks in Hollywood FL. They do not have them
in stock, though one of the instructors is going to be selling his 3 piece
Jubilee. They do have an original Nordkapp with the small cockpit.

The importer is Great River Outfitters. I would suggest getting the Carbon
version. The boat is heavy and even the carbon version weighs almost 45
pounds with 2 bulkheads.

There are a number of Romany owners on the list and I suspect it's a fine
boat. Waterways has them in stock and I was told it's a nice ladies boat.

Great! Bob: So the Jubilee IS available with a big Keyhole cockpit?

Where did you buy yours? I wonder why the salesman tried to talk me out of
the Jubilee in favor of a Romany Explorer? He said that it was difficult
to lean back in the Jubilee and that the seat was uncomfortable (I'm 5'11"
_at_ 190lbs.).

The Romany Explorer is 21.5:X17'8" and is advertised as an expedition kayak.

Doesn't the Jubilee sit lower in the water than they Romany Explorer? I
would think this would be a big plus in paddling in windy conditions.
