Don't want to find out somone is all talk in the middle of Rosario > Starit. > True enough! My thinking was that planning a couple of trips in a short period would let everyone choose an outing that is within their comfort range without worrying about "missing the boat," so to speak, and overreaching themselves for a chance to meet the group. Scheduling the trips in order of increasing difficulty is presumably the most prudent, but I hope people who are serious enough to read all these messages are also fairly honest, esp. to themselves, about their skills and experience. I'm happy to say that I've backed out of a couple of trips after I heard all the caveats! Also, the long trip is the sort of thing I expect to be more likely to be scrubbed due to poor weather, which makes me want to plan from the get-go for a backup daye. Overly pessimistic, perhaps. I'll be out of touch until Monday, so I'll look forward to catching up then with the plan (if any). Have a wet weekend!
