Thanks to all for your input - do you have any suggustions for a particular brand? I've decided to get an off shore type with greater buoyancy but the price ranges in the West catalog are pretty extreme - from $70 to over $150 - any other sources? I noticed that some of them have harnesses, which apparantly means a few sewn in metal rings to be attached to safety lines. Are those just for sailors or what. Someone esle mentioned a shorty to not interfere with the skirt. - Any brand in particular?
