Have you looked at those mylar containers for wine in 2.5 and 4 liter sizes? They're easy to clean out after use. Pop off the top, fill it with water, and there you go.... Being Mylar, they're pretty tough. Being flexible, sometimes they do double duty as shaped ice containers in coolers. JP PS, I think the kind you describe are in the CampMor catalog. -----Original Message----- >Can someone point me to a source for collapsable plastic water bags in 1/2 to >1 gallon size? I found some nice 2.5 gallon bags made by Liberty Mountain Sports called "Roll Up H2O Carrier"; made of translucent PVC, it's long and flat, fits nicely under the seat of my kayak. It has a wide mouth with tap, and carrying/hanging handles at both ends reinforced with wooden dowels. I found mine at Sport Chalet in s. CA. and pretty much bought out the local supply for friends. -- Karen Hancock San Clemente, CA magpi_at_access1.net 949/487-2602 *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.gasp-seakayak.net/paddlewise/ ***************************************************************************
>Can someone point me to a source for collapsable plastic water bags in 1/2 to >1 gallon size? Try the basic Platypus bags, just the plain bag without spigots, covers, tubes, etc. They seem to be indestructable.
