Hello all,
Here is a very practical request for help amid the high altitude
debates of esoteric kayakium. I am going to be in Seattle this
weekend and am looking for a good full day paddle. The guidebooks I
own don't offer anything appealing. I'd rather spend my day paddling
than driving and am quite comfortable in rough water and boat traffic
if need be, are there any locals out there who can suggest a spot?
Good put ins? For that matter are there any paddlers on this list who
live in Seattle and who are paddling this Saturday and who enjoy full
day paddles and who are interested in company? Why wing it when there
is this virtual community out there to help?
By the way, I checked the weather atlas and our Northwest average high
temperatures rise about 5 degrees F a month each month through June.
Anybody else find that exhilirating news?

Brian W.
