[Paddlewise] Florida question: Cedar Keys

On the evening of March 16 and all day March 17, I will be in Cedar keys
florida with my sea kayak (a truely wonderful Feathercraft Khatsalano -- the
best folding boat in the world!). I have a couple questions for the Florida
members of the paddlewise community.

What are the "must-see" paddle trips around Cedar keys?  I am a fast paddler
with lots of endurance, so I can cover many miles.

Any suggestions on a good Hotel to stay at?  A water front hotel might be
cool since I'd be able to put my boat together the night of the 16th and do
some night paddling (yes, I'll bring my two led lights and my bright
flashlight).

I might have a couple friends join me for half the day on March 17.  I would
be teaching them how to paddle as they have never so much as touched a
kayak.  Do you have any recommendations on where to rent kayaks in Cedar
Keys?  I've found one outfit on the web, but the sit on tops they picture on
their web page look real klunky.  I'd hate to frustrate my friends by
putting them in slow, bath-tub kayaks.
