    One of the most well attended series of trips done here are the
moonlight trips on the Delaware.  We'll get 20 or more boats on a trip.
Generally we do it a few days before the Full Moon, so that the moon is
already up when the sun sets, hence no dark period.
    It's a very different way of experiencing the river and you see a lot of
wildlife.  I've had Beavers swim up to try to figure out what I was.....
    Mostly we carry cyalume lights so we could be seen, though one paddler
has a running light on a post mounted behind him and higher than his head.
