We'll get 20 or more boats on a trip. Generally we do it a few days before the Full Moon, so that the moon is already up when the sun sets, hence no dark period. It's a very different way of experiencing the river and you see a lot of wildlife. I've had Beavers swim up to try to figure out what I was.....
