>I checked out some hats yesterday. The Ultimate Hat, made in Tampa and >based on the Tilly design, but more tropical, seemed excellent. >Unfortunately, they didn't have one in my size. >cya I have an Ultimate Hat, but haven't worn it lately. It's well made. I've gone to one of the felt hats sold by so many outdoor stores. ScotchGarded the outside for water-shedding, and it does a good job in all kinds of weather. I just got the new NOC catalog and they list the OR hats, and two really broadbrimmed hats from Watership Trading. One has a black underbrim to reduce glare. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.gasp-seakayak.net/paddlewise/ ***************************************************************************Received on Fri Mar 12 1999 - 06:53:19 PST
