[Paddlewise] Oregon coast and weather humor

"Good weather?? Reminds me of the story..."

At the risk of wandering off topic a bit, does anyone else have any
humorous regional weather lore?
This reminded me of some of the old jokes we kick around in Minnesota:

Minnesota is the theatre of six seasons- spring, summer, fall, and winter,
winter, winter.

Or, in another viewpoint, we only have two seasons-  Winter and the Fourth
of July.

In Minnesota, Duluth has the most efficient snow removal system-  it's
called August.

And so on. (No Sven and Ole jokes, though.)
