As sring rolls around I am finding less time to read my growing pile of
E-'s, but I wanted to throw my 2 centavos in on this thread.

Last August at the Outdoor retailer show in Salt Lake I purchased a Walrus
Aero Tarp. It looked interesting and was *way* cheaper than the Moss. BTW,
REI now owns both Moss and Walrus. It comes in three sizes and I was able
to purchase the show model <middle size> for a trip the next week. It
worked great. Since then I have purchased all three sizes for use on our
guided trips and such. If the Moss seems a little high priced and the ol'
blue tarp isn't cutting it any more consider on of the Walrus tarps. I
think REI *must* carry them, though I rarely visit <competitors and all>
;^)
