Recently in Germany a couple was using a GPS/map program in their car (the newest available option) to find their way to a city 200 miles away. They followed the map shown to the letter. Unfortunately they did not read the map, they just followed it. When they reached Hamburg, the map took them to the waterfront. They followed it on to a wharf and kept going as was directed by the GPS. Unfortunately the ferry was not at the end of the wharf to float them to the other side. By not reading the map they did not realize they were on a wharf and drove right off into the bay. Point being no matter how high tech we get nothing replaces common sense and attention to details.
