You need to address what your current and immediate future needs are, and make your decision based on that. In the long run, your kayaking skills and needs are going to change, and so will your equipment requirements. As that happens, you might sell your gear in exchange for newer/different one, of just acquire more boats and gear and end up with a small flotilla in your garage.
