[Paddlewise] Outfitters and or Safe Paddling for Beginers near Savanah GA

I know someone sent me a post recommending an outfitter in
this area, but I seem to have misplaced it.  I have a friend
who is beginner/intermediate in skills, but will be paddling
with two novices in the Savanah GA area next weekend.  Her
friends will need to rent boats and if possible wetsuits
(what are water temps in that part of the country early
season?- Us notherners expect the worst).  She is concerned
with her friends lack of experience and for this reason she
would prefer to car camp and do short safe day paddles
rather than crossing to an island to camp offshore.  Any
suggestions of good paddles that can keep the newbies from
getting in over their heads?  I think they were talking
about going to the Cumberland Island area???? but obviously
they should keep their plans flexible to keep from getting
in over their heads.
