[Hate missing the symposium, but we've had this one planned for a bit!] Weather looks fine for both locations -- sunny; highs in the high 60s to low 70s; lows in the mid 40s to low 50s; and a bit of wind on the docket (5-15). Should be an awesome paddle!!! In the meantime, had a couple of questions to toss out to those familiar with the cape neighborhood. -- Are there any kayak shops in the Wilmington/Cape Fear area? -- Are there any legal camping areas along the shoreline leading to the cape? -- And, if no legal camping areas, are there any not-so-legal areas we could camp in without worrying about being escorted away in the middle of the night and having our gear being confiscated?
