I have finally found a reason for my employer to send me to Swedon on business. Final approval hasn't come through, but I'm hoping to be in Lund Swedon around September 30. If it works out and my wife cooperates, my beautiful Khatsalano and I might get a few days to paddle either right before or just after my meetings in Lund. I've noticed a few paddlers from northern Europe on this list and thought you might help me out. Whats the paddling like in Swedon in late September and early October? Has the weather turned stormy and cold by that time of year? Where is the most spectactular paddling in that part of the world given that I'll only have a few days to paddle? Thank you for you help --Tim P.S. I guess it might help you answer the questions if you knew a bit about my paddling. I am an agressive sea kayaker comfortable in rough conditions. I'm not quite in the Tsunami Ranger's league, but I hope to get there in the next couple years (my wife thinks I'm crazy --- and she's probably right). While I like intense conditions, I'm also a saftey nut and carry lots of emergency equipment and practice crazy rescue sceneros regularly. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.gasp-seakayak.net/paddlewise/ ***************************************************************************Received on Wed Apr 28 1999 - 13:06:24 PDT
