It gets rainy (two years ago I spent a week paddling in September. Every morning and every evening it rained) But some of the most beautiful archipelago I know is in Sweden. The most beautiful is Stockholm archipelago (400 kms from Lund?) by the BAltic Sea. Also, near Göteborg/Gothenburg there is a sea archipelago, where the Swedes have a sea kayaking symposium. This area is more exposed, it opens to The North Sea. But I guess there must be some lake areas near Lund. Lakes in the autumn I like!
