>Whats the paddling like in Swedon in late September and early October? With some luck, it can be really good - in the Stockholm archipelago at least. Fall is my favorite time of the year as to paddling in that area since you pretty much have the archipelago for yourself and the water is not freezing cold either. I've finished my Stockholm Kayaking Special and I have three detailed trip suggestions there; I can mail this part of the article to you in case you're interested, trusting that you won't mail it further (I'm still not sure how the complete article will be published). However, Lund is not exactly close to Stockholm, so you might want to make a trip somewhere closer to your "target area". I don't have any personal kayaking experience from that part of Sweden but I could try to find some info for you. Further, if you need maps and stuff, I believe I can fix that. >Where is the most spectactular paddling in that part of the world.. Knowing that you have Norway in your Y2K agenda - if you really want *ocean* paddling in Sweden, I guess you should be heading to the western coast of the country - a bit north of Gothenburg. Haven't been there either - yet! - but, again, I guess I can find something for you if you like. Mail me directly if you think I can be of further assistance, I'd be glad to help.
