Hi- I am a newcomer to this list, but have enjoyed listening in so far, and am hoping that someone out there can answer my question... I am from New Hampshire and have been sea kayaking for a little under 2 years, mostly in large lakes and protected bays. I've done a lot of paddling but I have always launched from docks or enbankments, and have never done a surf landing. Right now I am interested in finding a place along the open coast where I can practice surf landings. I know some of the local beaches allow surfing, but I don't know if they would tolerate a kayak or not. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good practice area in southern ME or NH? I am also very interested in suggestions for good beginner/intermediate daytrips...
