Although the person they have at Folbot answering emails didn't know about adding DIY D-rings , one of the savvy BBS users pointed out that you can buy the stock Folbot polycarbonate D-rings and hypalon bases from Folbot -- for stitching on. These cost $8 per pair and I intend to glue them on with Aquaseal, without stitching (because it is unwise punch holes into your sponsons). Because the price is right, I'll use a few more to spread the load.
