I've drilled a number of holes in my Nordkapps. Only a few with 1/4 inch or larger bits. Nope...no glimmers. BTW, I don't like dogs either. Grab an electric drill with a quarter inch or larger bit in it, aim it at that 40 lb. British carbon/Kevlar boat of yours press the trigger fully (with it plugged in) and complete about six holes. Any glimmers, yet?
