[Paddlewise] Paddle-wise Club memberships

hey fellow wise paddlers ;-)

how about "floating" memberships [sorry couldn't resist!!] for
members of paddlewise, amongst their local clubs... for example,
someone is out here in colorado visiting, and wants to go on a
trip out here, that the RMCC or RMSKC is sponsoring. if we can
somehow verify the required skills are posessed by the visitor,
they would be welcome on the club trip without having to be a
member of that club [i guess technically they would be a guest]

i've had a couple folks out here, and it's worked, canoeing and 
sea kayaking [once a slightly more appropriate boat was obtained ;-0
personally, i might get the chance to finally travel at my company's
expense, and sometimes, to get a cheaper flight, they have you stay
a weekend night in the remote office ... so i'd have a "play day"
in a part of the country i haven't been able to explore, and would
love to be able to do a similar thing. there are a few members here
in the general area, but i won't say where, so offers are freely made.
but i would again do the same for someone visiting. i can bring pfd,
wetsuit, etc, but not paddle/boat ...

so, i suggest revolving memberships, so to speak ...
