I am headed up to the Boundary Waters with a group of friends. We 
could only get a Sag Lake permit, so we decided to bring a couple of 
kayaks (no portages) in addition to the two canoes. We have a couple 
of beginning kayakers in the group, so this trip will give them a 
chance to practice their paddle strokes. Beautiful weather forecast 
for the midwest this weekend, hope it's great everywhere else too.
