I think I sent this to someone privately, but meant to send it to the
list....

Well, I've only used the Hydroskin for snorkeling in Baja, so it served
as a very light wetsuit with the fuzzy rubber shorts. I can't say I
noticed any difference in my upper and lower body... one getting colder
than the other any sooner. Seemed about the same.

The fuzzy rubber is stretchier, more comfortable to wear, Hydroskin
being "stiffer". Unfortunatly, I had to get a man's shirt (Hydro), so
the fit wasn't very good and that may have contributed to the
discomfort. Once wet, the fuzzy rubber lining does take longer to dry
than Hydroskin. I have worn the fuzzy rubber shorts kayaking in Alaska,
and on a hot day they can get uncomfortably warm. Don't know how
Hydroskin would compare under the same conditions. Neither of the
materials has ripped or suffered a puncture yet, but my guess is the
Hydroskin would resist tearing better than fuzzy rubber.

That's all I can offer on the two. I think they are both good products
and a great improvement over neoprene. :-) One other thing, I believe
Hydroskin is a good bit less expensive than fuzzy rubber....
