I used to get dizzy while praticing rolls. The problem was the fact that, while I was warm, I kept throwing my head into 50 degree water every 10 seconds and freezing my head. Then I started using a neoprene hood, and the problem went away. The neoprene hood also prevents cold water from getting in my ears; if any water gets in my ears, it has alredy been warmed by my head elsewhere. I really recommend a good neoprene hood for practicing rolls. The increased comfort makes a big difference. - Julio > > I had a couple of hours this morning so I went to the local fresh water > puddle to play with some paddle float rolls. > > After rolling up (or exiting) I experienced sever dizziness that lasted for > close to 2 minutes or so.
