I had a couple of hours this morning so I went to the local fresh water puddle to play with some paddle float rolls. After rolling up (or exiting) I experienced sever dizziness that lasted for close to 2 minutes or so. When I exited, I could barely maintain balance even while holding onto the boat in waist deep water. I had a custom made ear plug in one ear which extends into the ear canal to protect a perforated ear drum. I assume this is the culprit. The same thing happened during the rolling class a couple of weeks ago. That went away after 10-15 minutes though. I forgot the hip pads so was sloshing around in the cockpit pretty badly and quit after several repeated incidences. Anyone else experience this kind of equilibrium problem when turning upside down?
